Top 5 Things to ask

Whether you are looking to hire myself or another photographer for a special event or photo session, here are the top 5 things to discuss with them:
Photography style: Make sure to discuss the photographer's style and see if it aligns with your vision. Are you looking for candid shots or posed portraits? Do you prefer bright and colorful images or something more moody and dramatic? If you are unsure create a mood board (a group of images that you enjoy and discuss them with your photographer. Understanding the photographer's style will help you determine if they are the right fit for your needs.
Timeline: Discuss the timeline of the shoot or event with your photographer. This includes start and end times, as well as any important moments or shots you want to capture. If you have specific locations in mind, make sure to share those with your photographer as well.
Special requests: Do you have any special requests for your photos? Maybe you want a certain pose or shot, or you have a particular family member you want included in the photos. Let your photographer know about any special requests you have so they can work to accommodate them.
Pricing and packages: Discuss pricing and package options with your photographer. This includes the cost of the shoot or event, as well as any additional fees for prints or digital copies. Make sure you understand what's included in each package and what the final deliverables will be.
Communication: Make sure to establish good communication with your photographer before, during, and after the shoot or event. This includes discussing how you prefer to communicate (email, phone, etc.) and how often you will check in with each other. Good communication will ensure that everyone is on the same page and that you get the photos you want.
